Time has flown by!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't blogged for so long. Sixth year with three advanced highers has left me with very little time to blog. Thought I'd take some time out from writing/redrafting an essay for English that is sent away on Friday.
I have accepted my unconditional place at Edinburgh University to study biological sciences and I've just filled out and sent a form to SAAS to get my monies sorted out for next year. I just can't wait to go!!!
On a sadder note - my grandma passed away on the 27th of March and (for the first time in about 10 years) I went into a church for her funeral. She had been ill for a long time and she had also been in hospital with renal failure and heart problems for a month. She seemed to be getting better but then she just slipped away. It was peaceful. On a slightly weirder note - I wrote a poem the day she passed away, BEFORE my folks got home and told me the sad news. Through working on my poem, I poured my grief on to the paper and my mum was almost in tears when she read it. I weirded her out when I told her when I had written it. I have to go now and get prawns out of the freezer. Dad wants them defrosted as weare having a barbie tonight for tea. mmm... barbied prawns, toasted marshmallows. YUM!!
